MIKE Perez’s trainer Colin Morgan has quashed rumours ‘The Rebel’ is next in line for David Price.

The boxing rumour mill was churning out news of a potential dust between the heavyweight duo on the undercard of the Amir Khan-Danny Garcia bout in LasVegas next month. However Morgan confirmed to John Riordan and the Irish Examiner that Team Price hadn’t contacted the undefeated Cork based Cuban.

‘The Rebel’ is up for the clash and would welcome a clash with the British Champion, but again no offer has been received.

“They know where we are and Mike would love to fight him,anytime, any place but it’s important that everyone knows that his people have not been in touch with us yet,” Morgan told the Examiner.
