Paddy Murphy makes first defense of his title

ONE of Ireland’s boxing wizard’s of Oz Paddy Murphy will make the first defence of his Queensland State welterweight title on July 27th.
The undefeated Newry fighter became the wleterweight king of Queens with a win over
Brett John-Smith earlier in the year and makes and puts his title on the like against Jake Moulden.
Moulden, who is training in Thailand for the bout, has only two wins in three pro fights, but boasts a 20-1 kick boxing record.
Regardless Murphy will be hoping to register his third tko in as many fights and will be looking to play sandman in the Sand’s Tavern venue.
