MACKLIN:MURRAY’S TEAM CAME IN TOO CHEAP
Matthew Macklin claims has moved his sights from Martin Murray because he didn’t receive a worthy offer from Hatton Promotions.
Ricky Hatton this week revealed the Irish middleweight withdrew from fight talks during the week. The former Irish, British and two time European finances revealed he did so because Hatton failed to met his evaluation.
“(They were)way down on the offer. Weeks spent on it and they are not budging, so moved on with a different fight,” Macklin tweeted.
Macklin is looking to be out in September again, but the fighter who challenged Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm for versions of the world title has yet to name his opponents.
