Irish Team looking to bowl India and Tunisia over in Test Match
Ireland’s Elite squad – including our six-strong Olympic panel – will meet India and Tunisia in a Test Match at Dublin’s National Stadium this afternoon.
All three nations have been training and sparring at the home of Irish boxing for over a week as part of their preparations for the 2012 Olympic Games which begin in London next month.
India and Tunisia are using their entire Olympic teams at IABA headquarters.
Irish head coach Billy Walsh said that no scores will be kept today, adding that the matches were a training exercise and part of their preparations for the 30th Olympiad.
All three nations will have a final Test Match on Friday at the National Stadium.
The Irish Olympic squad will leave for their final training camp in Assisi, Italy on July 13th.
