BATES MAKES TV DEBUT DOWN UNDER

IT will be lights, camera and TV action for Tony Bates as he returns to the ring in Campsie Sydney on July 13.
One of a growing number of Irish fighters on the up Down Under, Bates takes on Kurt Finlayson on an exciting Billy Hussein card and ‘The Irish Psycho’s’ fifth pro bout will be his first on TV.
The Clondalkin fighter moves down to lightweight in a bid to move up the boxing ladder and plays support to IBF featherweight champion Billy Dib’s clash with fight Mexican southpaw Juan Antonio Rodriguez.
On the same card Aussie Joel Brunker (22-0, 13 KOs) will fight Mexican Edgar Riovalle.
