Loss number 21 for Healy
BY Jonny Stapleton
There were no twenty first celebrations as two weight Irish champion Ciaran Healy slipped to career defeat number 21 in Manchester on Friday night.
The 37 year old battler was beaten by former Prizefighter winner and British prospect Rocky Fielding.
Healy was by no means bowled over in the Bowlers Exhibition Centre and could have just shaded the opening stanza, but was forced to retire at the end of the fourth round.
The Belfast fighter once again took the fight at short notice and did well considering. Healy plans to hang up his gloves before the year is out but will want to go out on a happier note.
