Kavanagh (9-0-1) goes to work against the Mexican in holiday town of Cancun on the undercard of Tlanepantla’s Pablo Cesar Cano and Colombia’s Fidel Monterrosa enthralling bout.

Kavanagh took the fight at short notice after the cancellation of the Amir Khan and Lamont Peterson’s  card denied him the chance of registering his tenth successive and The Golden Boy will be hoping to impress on his Mexican debut.
