Frampton has more important things than Gallahad on his mind

Carl Frampton claims he has more important things on his mind than Kid Gallahad, as he prepares to pass the stiffest test of his career this Saturday.
The Jackal is ready to sink his teeth into undefeated Pablo Hirales on the under card of Carl Froch and Lucian Bute’s eagerly anticipated super middleweight clash this Saturday night.
Sheffield’s super bantamweight prospect has been name dropping both Frampton and Willie Casey over the last number of weeks, but the Belfast fighter claims his focus is on impressing a world wide TV audience in Nottingham this Saturday.
Indeed Frampton believes he would bully the Kid to submission if they did trade leather.
“He called us all out after his fight against Wale. But I am totally focused on Hirales and that is all I am worried about at the minute,” Frampton told the Belfast Newsletter.
“He seems to fancy his chances and I hear he says fighting me would be like the time Prince Naseem Hamed beat Steve Robinson. Apparently he is the Prince and I am Robinson. The only thing wrong with that, is that Prince Naseem Hamed could punch and he had a good chin. Galahad can’t punch and he got put down by Jason Booth – who also can’t punch! Good luck to Galahad, but I have more important things to think about.
“Fighting Hirales is a huge opportunity for me and it is one I am going to take, but this will be my toughest fight to date,” he added.
