Willie Casey will compete in the first ever WBA European title fight against a yet to be named opponent.
The WBA confirmed to Irish-boxing.com that they are launching their version of the European title and at present ‘Big Bang’ is in a position to become the first ever WBA champion of Europe.

Boxing fans won’t be too pleased to see yet another belt thrown into an already strap packed mix. However, will be pleased to learn holding the WBA European title guarantees Emerald Promotions crown jewel a world top 15 ranking and literaly opens the former EBU Continental champ to a world of opportunities.
