Byrne keeping a low profile ahead of July bout
By Jonny Stapleton
DEAN Byrne is keeping a low profile ahead of pro fight 16, scheduled for early July.
The usual verbal sparks surrounding ‘Irish Lightening’s’ fight build ups won’t be present this time round, as the Frank Warren promoted star plans to let his fist do the talking.
The Dubliner lost too Frank Horta and Terry Holmes in his last two outings and seems frustrated with the reverses. Granted the Horta fight was taken at a days notice, but the former Wild Card fighter tipped by Freddie Roach to succeed at the top seems to have taken stock since loosing to five fight novice Holmes.
The charismatic talent has taken an action speaks louder than words stance and plans to show rather than tell people how good he is next time out.
“I am keeping a low profile ahead of this fight,” Byrne told www.irish-boxing.com. “I am putting my head down and I am determined to show people how good I am.”
