Big Rogie to fight on?
By Jonny Stapleton
MARTIN Rogan failed to rule out fighting again despite falling significantly short in his bid to beat world number six Tyson Fury for the Irish title in the Odysseys Arena on Saturday night.
At 41 and with just two meaningful fights in the last 30 months it is difficult to see were ‘The Entertainer’ can go especially after last weekends defeat.
But the man with odd defying previous has failed to rule out another night in the pro ring.
“Boxing’s been very good to me and I’ve been very good to boxing. I’ve been to great places and the people who love me and follow me are great too. It’s nothing to do with my age and I won’t make any rash decisions. There’s not many people can say they boxed the world No 6. I did. He totally surprised me by switching to southpaw. He proved that he can change from one boxer to another and that’s good. We did everything we could do but unfortunately there can only be one winner and one loser.”
